Authorized Service Center Officer

For our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam, we are currently seeking to recruit an Authorized Service Center Officer.


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible to execute strategies on Embraer Authorized Service Network improvement and business development to support Executive Aviation, Commercial, Defense and new programs in the EMEA region, by optimizing existing suppliers and bridging the support gaps throughout the various countries and customer bases in accordance with Embraer’s requirements.


MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain fair knowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) partners capability and market conditions in the EMEA region.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing team during Aircraft Sales Campaign on MRO strategy and related matters.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Relationship Management- and Sales & Marketing team from the respective business units, defining strategy and providing information on MRO support in region.
  • Ensure availability of suitable and qualified potential MRO providers in the region, by actively talking to customers and MRO’s.
  • Audit and manage the MRO’s to be part of the Authorized Service Centers network.
  • Foster close working relationship with MRO partners, develop and improve the aircraft maintenance capability of the Service Center network.
  • Assist in the suppliers’ bidding process.
  • Monitor agreements signed with Embraer Authorized Service Center.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the service agreements, such as accounts payable and -receivable, seeking to increase company’s profitability and efficiency.
  • Responsible for guaranteeing compliance requirements, such as Due Diligence and Know Your Customer’s (KYC) processes.
  • Coordinate and support the integration of Service Centers with departments in Embraer.
  • Support the activities to achieve successful aircraft maintenance inspections and entry into service of new Embraer aircraft through the Service Center network.
  • Managing customer's expectations and satisfaction at all times.
  • Support the business area in deployment of the global MRO vision. Also, promoting, protecting and maintaining the company, branding, image and values for success.


PROFILE OF THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor Level educational background with technical training and knowledge;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience related to aviation MRO or sales/customer service experience;
  • Familiar with the aviation regulations and CAA’s requirements;
  • Good knowledge of Embraer Engineering and Services and Support Organizations;
  • Able to handle critical situations and work under pressure;
  • Process oriented and driven to the continuous improvement of the activities;
  • Able to work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment with many complexities;
  • Flexible, has a sense of urgency and customer support orientation are key character attributes to be successful in this role;
  • Eligible to live and work in Europe.
  • Expertise and previous knowledge in data management and analysis.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must. Other languages would be of advantage.
