About the Role...
Airbus Defence and Space has decided to establish Project/Program Management Office (PMO) organization with tailored sub-organizations for each Program Line and Program Unit. The PMO framework is well outlined and characterized by Airbus Corporate Standardization Documents. Accordingly the PMO shall provide a centre of excellence to deliver methods, processes and tools in support to Programme and Project Managers.
The Integrated Project Planner is an integral part of the PMO team responsible, not only to develop and maintain schedules, but also provided added value insight and analysis for timely decision making. This role will support some of Airbus Defence & Space's biggest Space & Satellite manufacturing projects, notably OneSat, Skynet & ESA's Galileo.
How will you contribute to the team…
Maintain the programme’s integrated plan in the appropriate toolset (e.g. Unified Planning), embedding inputs from all contributing stakeholders
Identify, track and communicate the programme’s critical path, proposing measures to shorten it
Track programme progress and provide visualization and early warning of potential issues to allow for early mitigation, anticipation and data-driven decisions
Contribute to project Risk & Opportunity Management, including schedule impact assessment
Actively implement improvements in working methods and programme execution through strong collaboration with PMO team members and other project stakeholders
Prepare internal and external planning reports and presentations, as well as input into EVM Analysis.
About you...
Experience in standard scheduling tools (e.g. Planisware, Unified Planning, MS Project, Primavera)
Familarity with wider Project Management tools (e.g. ARM, SAP, ADProject)
Experience in techniques of Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) & Earned Value Management (EVM)
Ability to work across functions, and to influence and persuade programme stakeholders amid conflicting priorities
