Component Engineering is a new function in the CoC. We are looking for highly committed colleagues to be part of an expert team with the aim to develop this challenging area to a new professional level. Beside the fascinating technical responsibilities, you will also influence commercial decisions.

Tasks
Component Engineering is a new function in the CoC. We are looking for highly committed colleagues to be part of an expert team with the aim to develop this challenging area to a new professional level. Beside the fascinating technical responsibilities, you will also influence commercial decisions.
- Monitoring of component reliability and defining countermeasures
- Manage replacement, obsolescence and modification campaigns
- Define workscope of shop visits for components (incl. predictive maintenance)
- Perform Value-Engineering tasks with focus on commercial improvements and TCO
- Check completeness of Back to Birth History for components
- Technical investigations for components
- Drive digitalisation in area of Component Engineering
- Monitoring reliability and support of Pool scope from technical perspective
- Ensuring master data improvements and part number harmonization
- Close cooperation and information exchange with CoC Airframe and Satellite

- Technical Apprenticeship enhanced with further Technical degree or Bachelor in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of aircraft systems with at least 3 years of experience
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Proficiency in use of MS Office suite applications, AMOS knowledge as an advantage
- Commercial understanding and knowledge of TCO
- Acquainted with current aviation regulations
- Good written and spoken English and German skills
- Self-Management skills and can-do attitude
