Summary


Responsible for maintaining and developing sales for specific Quick service accounts in North America.


Main responsibilities


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building new profitable business via ongoing management of an active sales pipeline and subsequent implementation.

• Retaining gained business by achieving maximum levels of profitability for deSter and maximum levels of satisfaction for own and direct reports’ customers

• Implementing new business accurately and in line with expectations of all stakeholders

• Ensuring the agreed targets on turnover and margins are met and report consequently and via the proper channels and guidelines

• Contribute in further professionalizing of processes and the route to market

• Achieve the best possible commercial deals

• Responsible of driving and growing Sales opportunities

• Establish solid relationships with customers


Account management

• Create annual customer budgets and ongoing forecasts

• Ensure account management plans and associated action plans are according to the customer portfolio

• Manage the customer contact program

• Ensure all contracts are accurately implemented, e.g. managing contract performance, customer payment terms, delivery terms and complaints

• Manage above account management responsibilities through direct reports and own accounts


Prospecting new customers

• Ensure an accurate and targeted sales pipeline is in place with a corresponding action plan

• Ensure sales tenders are managed to the highest standards to achieve the utmost in class conversion levels

• Responsible for the achievement of proposed sales budget, proper management of accounts, and the further development of the business

• Present reports on performance and activities on a weekly basis

• Prepares sales quotes and presentations with the support of key stakeholders

• Negotiate deals with the support of key stakeholders

• Work with business support, product management and customer service teams to implement the business model per customer

• Anticipate and propose short-term sales objectives for the sales region and modify them in line with the market situation/needs/requirements/trends

• Initiate projects to achieve targets, including good and thorough understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive moves in addition to strengths/capabilities and competitive position

Requirements


Education:

• Degree in Economics or related discipline

Work Experience:

• At least 10 years of Sales experience with major customers preferably in the packaging business and or Quick service market


Technical Skills:

• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365 skills (Teams, Sharepoint, One Note,…)

• Experience with ERP systems helpful


Other Skills:

• Results driven, tenacious and focused

• Proven negotiation skills

• Strong communication skills on all levels in an organization

• Attention to detail, well organized, accurate and well documented

• Customer orientated

• Flexible but target driven

• Leadership skills

• Team player

Language / Communication Skills:

• English, and any other modern language, fluent both orally and in writing

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
