SWISS Technics is responsible for the technical maintenance and safety of the fleet. In today’s digital age, a variety of specialized software applications are utilized in daily operation – for example, maintenance tasks are no longer captured in a logbook but instead, they are entered in a tablet.

Tasks
You are responsible for the support of software solutions and act as a main contact for providing support to implement new digital solutions. You work in our aircraft hangar as well as our offices in Kloten and you closely collaborate with SWISS IT, end-users as well as suppliers.
- Administer & support various software applications used in Technics
- Collaborate with end users, SWISS IT and suppliers in troubleshooting and resolving application, network and other IT-related issues
- Manage user access rights and permissions in accordance with defined standards
- Handle user-tickets in OTRS and provide feedback to end users
- Analyze business requirements and write specifications for new functions and interfaces between core applications (e.g. AMOS, Flydocs, AVIATAR) and other systems
- Roll out new functions including user acceptance testing, configuration and documentation
- Shape the Technics app landscape by identifying application & hardware usability shortcomings, initiating improvements and/or trainings and participating in digitalization projects

Requirements
- University's Degree in Information Technology or a technical education
- You are comfortable and enjoy working with different software applications/systems (e.g. MS Office, Apple iOS, AMOS, OTRS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a strong technical aptitude
- Entrepreneurial mindset and you know how to deal with complex subjects
- You enjoy working in a hybrid work environment and are flexible to support other team members when needed
- You are passionate about aviation and believe that mobility plays an important role in a globally interlinked world, connecting people and cultures
- Aviation maintenance know-how is a strong asset
- Good communication skills in English; German is advantageous
- Driver’s license is advantageous
