In this interesting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling day to day operations of various outlets of cafe ensuring the standard of service and cleanliness are maintained. Ensure beverages security and controls stock levels and suggest for promotion of food and beverage outlets. Secure catering products (food and non-food) and receiving them ensuring the right temperatures and in proper HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Point) standard.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Train staffs and ensure the standaard of service and cleanliness are maintained as per HACCP standard
- Supervise service and interact with guests to ensure their needs are attended to in the best possible manner
- Ensure beverages security and minimum stock level are maintained at all times
- Coordinate with all relevant departmets to ensure smooth operations
- Check areas to ensure that facilities are thoroughly cleaned and tables and chairs are appropriately set out
- Discuss operational difficulties & recommendation for promoting food & beverage outlets with line manager
- Train staffs in Safety, SOP, CCP and Hygiene
- Ensure adequate staffing to the service lines and control the portioning to the customers
- Check areas ensuring facilities are adequately cleaned and maintained in a neat and tidy manner
- Ensure that suite of furniture and linens at dining area are maintained
- Ensure glassware, crockery, cutlery, service trays, cruet sets and food menu meet the Dining Services standard at all times
- Ensure that every individual staff meet the grooming standard at workplace with clean shaved/trimmed hair and beard
- Perform regular inventory audits of crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware and beverage stocks and provide the feedback to the management
- Co-ordinate with Cafeteria Manager for general cleanlibess as well as maintenance and repairs of Dining Services equipment
- Provide direct 'hands-on' approach at all times to deliver qulaity, prompt food service as needed during busy schedules
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
University Qualification with minimum 1 years relevant experience OR High School Qualification with minimum 2 years relevant experience
Job Specific Skills:
Essential:
- Previous work experience in Hotel/Restaurants as a Supervisor
- Good spoken an dwritten Englush Language
- Managerial Skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
- Computer Literature and POS knowledge preferred
