Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Corporate Security team as a Senior Manager of Internal Investigations. This role will lead a team of skilled investigators, ensuring that all investigations are conducted efficiently, thoroughly, and in compliance with legal and ethical standards. This role requires a strategic approach, strong leadership abilities, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

  • Lead a team of investigators in conducting thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of workplace violence, theft/fraud and other misconduct or violations of company policies
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Legal, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Ethics & Compliance, etc., to coordinate investigative efforts and ensure timely resolutions of issues
  • Oversee comprehensive investigative reports, including reviewing/approving prior to distribution to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement investigative policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and adherence to standard processes
  • Provide guidance and support to investigators, including training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Represent the organization in interactions with external parties, including local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as necessary
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in investigative techniques, and incorporate this knowledge into the development of investigative strategies

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice or related field
  • 7+ years of investigative experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to empower and develop a team of investigators
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Integrity, discretion, and commitment to upholding ethical standards in all aspects of the job
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 3-5+ years of direct management experience
  • Certification in a relevant area such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP), is a plus
