The role
As a Business Management System Implementation Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The role acts as a subject matter expert across engineering governance, assurance, and delivery, able to leverage knowledge from across the business to support development and continuous improvement of the engineering Business Management System (BMS) Sector. The role will engage with Group to achieve implementation across Sector and assist with continuous improvement of Global BMS.
Day-to-day, you’ll deliver the BMS change and improvements will be realised as a series of internal Projects. The role is responsible in a Project Manager capacity to deliver the internal projects. You will:
- Manage UK MRN ENG BMS Project
- Lead BMS Migration Agility to Global BMS
- Lead the Global Engineering BMS Implementation across UK Marine
- Establish business as usual maintenance and development of the engineering BMS.
This role is full time, 37hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office/onsite and 2-3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Business Management System Implementation Manager
- Experience with BMS and Certification
- Experience with execution of engineering in line with System Engineering (ISO 15288) principles
- Experience fulfilling Engineering Assurance roles.
Qualifications for the Business Management System Implementation Manager
- Chartered Engineer, Engineering degree or comparable academic standard, in relevant discipline
- Association of Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
