Spicejet appoints Ashish Kumar as new CFO

Spicejet appoints Ashish Kumar as new CFO with effect from 9 September 2022.

Before joining SpiceJet, Kumar was serving as the head of corporate finance at Interglobe Enterprises. He served as CFO at Interglobe Hotels for five years from 2014 to 2018.

"I am delighted and honoured to join SpiceJet and look forward to closely working with the team. I hope to contribute to the growth story and scale greater heights with the Company under the able leadership of Ajay Singh," Ashish Kumar said this week.

Ashish Kumar holds an M.Com from University of Kolkata and B. Com (Hons) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He is also a certified chartered accountant (ACA), cost accountant (FCMA) and company secretary (ACS).

SpiceJet is an Indian budget airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. It is the second largest airline in the country by number of domestic passengers carried.
