Summary
The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and managing the execution of all aspects of revenue accounting for the company in accordance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies. The manager will interface with others within the accounting department and throughout the organization on a wide range of company initiatives. The manager will participate in special projects when revenue recognition expertise is needed, providing both technical and/or operational knowledge.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education:  Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details:  In Accounting or other related field.
Certification:  No
Certification Details:  CPA preferred.
Years of Experience:  Minimum five (5) years related experience including but not limited to public accounting and/or SOX/internal controls as well as supervisory experience.

•Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments to work on several projects/products concurrently and meet or exceed deadlines.

Job Duties
•Analyze & oversee reconciliation of various general ledger accounts related to revenue and other areas as assigned.
•Assist in month-end close procedures, including review of journal entries and review of balance sheet account reconciliations.
•Participate in user acceptance testing for revenue-related system enhancements and system implementations.
•Assist in research and documentation of technical accounting matters.
•Ensure compliance with departmental policies & procedures.
•Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment including maintaining appropriate documentation.
•Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business processes.
•Liaise directly with internal and external auditors regarding inquiries and provide relevant deliverables.
•Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with peers and subordinates.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
