This Kitchen Porter position is based airside in Terminal 3, London Heathrow Airport TW6 2QG, working in a prestigious passenger lounge for a leading global airline.

The Kitchen Porter’s Responsibilities are:

• Keeping storerooms clean and tidy.
• Washing all items including saucepans, chinaware, glassware and cutlery using an industrial dishwasher.
• Unloading deliveries and moving food supplies.
• Removal of rubbish and non-essential waste.
• Sweeping all areas of the kitchen.
• Cleaning kitchen floor, food preparation surfaces and equipment

In return the Kitchen Porter will receive:

• £11.40 per hour.
• Minimum of 40 hours a week guaranteed with overtime available.
• Excellent working environment.
• Free meals on duty.

The ideal Kitchen Porter will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role.
• Be able to work early and late shifts. (Early 05:15 – 14:15 & late 13:15 – 22:15).
• Able to communicate efficiently in English.
• Have to ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to commute to and from Heathrow Airport via public transport links.

We would like to hear from applicants that have experience working as a kitchen helper, catering helper, catering assistant, general hand, kitchen hand or any similar role within a kitchen environment.
