Summary
Role and Responsibilities
Applies principles of general business, financial analysis and accounting to analyze financial information in order to develop and track Monthly Revenue Forecasts, Operating Plans, Budgets and Monthly Management Reporting. Uses knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations to support Rates and Overhead team on the Forward Pricing Rates.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Effectively communicate financial data with supervisors, managers, and directors of all functions
- Supports the monthly forecast processes and provides analysis of inputs to the forecast
- Supports the annual Operating Plan process and provides analysis of inputs to the Plan
- Supports process improvements for FP&A and other departments
- Gathers information and provides inputs for rate submissions to the Government
- Prepares monthly Management Reporting presentations and provides analysis support to the Leadership Team
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent related experience
- Zero to three (0-3) years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the data processing, accounting, contracting, purchasing, project management, engineering and manufacturing functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Above average ability to clearly communicate financial information to users of financial data
- Must have an understanding of accounting standards and financial statement presentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines
- General knowledge of databases and database management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel user
- Basic understanding relational databases and SQL
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
