About the role:
We are looking for a Technical Training Instructor to join our team in Beijing, China. Who will be responsible for providing both face-to-face and virtual customer training to a diverse and multi-cultural audience across the complete portfolio of L3 Harris Flight Simulation products. You will be able to develop high quality, high impact and engaging courseware and deliver that to a wide customer base around the World. This will include building on and refining existing learning modules and ensuring that the intended learning outcomes are clearly defined, and the learning materials and courses are suitable to meet the developmental needs of our Customers.
Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Act as an ambassador for L3 Harris, making sure all activities are Customer-centric
- Analyse aircraft data and other equipment manufacturer’s data.
- Developing the training material based on the curriculum syllabi to make sure all learning outcomes are met.
- Maintaining training plans/schedules and reporting progress.
- Interfacing with customers.
- Delivering in a professional manner
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- A suitable degree or equivalent (with maths, science or engineering content) or a minimum 4 years’ appropriate experience in industry.
- Be a qualified training facilitator with at least 2 years technical experience in the delivery technical training instruction.
- Have an awareness of different training delivery methodologies such as instructor-led, computer-based, blended and webinar.
- Innovate and improve the training media to maintain the competitive advantage and
- Be IT literate with extensive knowledge of Windows computing applications such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Linux is desirable.
- Be able to interpret a wide variety of source documentation, to prepare and deliver presentational courseware taking diverse students through their learning journey
- Be aware of the department methods of tasking and budget control and that all tasks need to be completed within the allocated budget.
- Be aware of the department methods of document revision control and make sure any materials that are generated comply with the QA processes.
- Will be capable of fulfilling the role of Technical Author, creating and updating technical documentation that supports the maintenance of the L3 Harris simulation products.
