The hybrid position will be responsible for assisting engineers with administrative, documentation, process and general engineering related support activities. Individual must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple engineers and provide a wide variety of non-technical tasks to assist with engineering projects. This individual will perform as primary engineering support focal assisting with administrative tasks in support of new product development, program required certifications, training and technical publication management. Acts as process and tool expert for engineering teams. Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Logistics data processing (tracking product, components, spares etc. covered under contract)
- Create, format and edit documentation.Â
- Provides tools expertise and support to Engineering: MS Office Apps, requirements databases, change management and tracking tools.
- Supports the Bid & Proposal process, assisting in bid narratives and bid reviews.Â
- Supports the Third-Party Intellectual Property process by coordinating the completion of all necessary documentation.
- Collects metrics and prepares presentation materials for analysis.Â
- Assists in tracking action items for risk management and tasks in the change management tools.Â
- Supports the development and maintenance of engineering web-based pages.Â
- Create metrics and prepares presentation materials for analysis.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
- Networks with both internal and external personnel at multiple levels in own area of expertise.
- Create Meeting Minutes in support of internal/external customer meetings
- Parts ordering and tracking
Qualifications:
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelorsâ degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to work in a team environmentÂ
- Must be a U.S. Person
- Capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance
- Must have the desire and willingness to commit to continued learning.Â
Required Tool Experience:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Tool Experience Desired but Not Required: Experience in SAP, DOORS, PREP, Subversion, Jira/ALM, SharePoint, and Agile
