This role is part of a new web team of talented digital specialists managing the variety of web disciplines necessary to operate in an increasingly digital-first world. Â This team is responsible for building a world-class website experience: seamless, easy to navigate and optimized to meet the information needs of our buyers and customers: leading website development work on everything from how visitors find our website, where they land, how they engage and find out about our portfolio offerings, through to how they convert into enquiries and leads and return as new customers.
The Digital User Experience Manager will be the voice of the customer when it comes to the website experience. This innovative, data-driven and tech-savvy role will uncompromisingly focus on customersâ needs, working cross-functionally to craft experiences that will delight our web visitors, meet customer expectations and drive business results. By partnering with our IT teams you will ensure that the website and online tools experience is seamless, easy to navigate, and optimized for buyer/customer journeys.Â
The Digital User Experience Manager will focus on continous site enhancements, A/B & multivariate testing, and ongoing optimization of the customer journey(s) to ensure a world-class digital experience on www.eaton.com. This role will lead the gathering of insights and capability needs from a diverse set of stakeholders across marketing, data analytics, IT and operational leaders and bring them to life on the web.Â
Finally, by providing hands-on support and best-in-class process training and coaching, you will guide the business on how to apply the optimal online UX strategies, in order to increase wider business capabilities and understanding in this critical area.
Job Responsibilities
- Leverage latest B2B UX trends to support creation of the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing an ongoing optimization of web and digital experiences for persona-based buyer journeys.
- Leverage Eaton's buyer journey methodology and findings, by industry type and buying group, to test and optimize how content is surfaced for the best possible UX.
- Use voice of the customer (VoC), collaborate with teams like sales, services and operations to identify unmet customer needs and pain points. Develop and manage a roadmap for digital experience improvements, manage the implementation with relevant IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business, segment, channel and divisional content marketing teams to design, develop, deploy & sustain innovation in user journey mapping  by ensuring the UX vision is continually optimized.
- Leverage web data analytics, research and web visitor feedback insights to clearly identify pain points and gaps in the customer experience and define actions to address.
- Partner with data analytics, digital marketing teams and web testing colleagues to define good outcomes for qualitative testing, ensuring we are building the right experience for a diverse set of buyer personas.
- Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility, ensuring the development & enhancement roadmap stays aligned with organization objectives.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus constraints.
- Work with EMEA marketing stakeholders to drive ongoing understanding of and compliance with UX practices. Regularly use reports to monitor compliance; support with coaching and ensure extensive documentation is maintained and continually updated.

Qualifications
Are you?
Required:
- Desired: Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Digital Business and/or Marketing, Business, User Experience or Interaction Design
- 3-5 Yearsâ experience
- Fluent in English
- Experience in defining UX frameworks, including user research, developing user flows and stories, and conducting usability tests
- Understanding of buyer journey mapping for web design and how user behavior and research needs differ through buying stages
- Experience in large-scale website development and/or management
- Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Understanding of/experience in web testing and analytics tools
- Understanding of SCRUM/ agile software development methodology
- Excellent understanding of Web CMS (Content Management System) platforms
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- PowerBI or other reporting and data vizualization tools
- Google Analytics
- Excellent communication skills - clear, persuasive, and inspiring in both written and verbal communication
- Strong self-management skills and positive attitude
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with great attention to detail
- Demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize
- Must be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders, receptive of feedback and quick to apply changesÂ
- Adaptable in fast, sometimes ambiguous environment
