This role is part of a new web team of talented digital specialists managing the variety of web disciplines necessary to operate in an increasingly digital-first world. This team is responsible for building a world-class website experience: seamless, easy to navigate and optimized to meet the information needs of our buyers and customers: leading website development work on everything from how visitors find our website, where they land, how they engage and find out about our portfolio offerings, through to how they convert into enquiries and leads and return as new customers.
As a Website Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for the analysis, testing and optimization of web experiences, focusing on driving engagement and improvements to the buyer journey. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and performance of the user experience related to content consumption, calls to action, landing pages, forms, personalization, and other opportunities to drive engagement that feeds our lead scoring system to develop business pipeline.
The Web Optimization Specialist will be the bridge between demand generation marketing, and the web and marketing automation functions which continually inspect the visitor’s journey for points of friction and leaps on opportunities for optimization. Determined by data-driven behavioral analysis and test-driven improvement design, this role will be an excellent communicator, seamlessly translating business priorities into technical requirements and project plans that yield the desired business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Define, execute, and report on A/B and multivariate testing strategies and timelines for continuous improvement of digital experiences
- Increase conversion rates, decrease bounce rates and points of friction, identify exit trends and discover opportunities to improve user experience.
- Utilize qualitative (voice of customer feedback, recorded onpage engagement & journey analysis, site reviews) and quantitative (traffic source analysis, web analytics tools) data, supported by best in class UX design principles, to execute strategies and create testing roadmaps to improve onsite conversion rates.
- Regularly communicate and translate data-driven test results into actionable insights to senior management and other stakeholders, aligning the tests to our overall strategies and goals.
- Ensure flawless setup and execution of tests, supporting all technical aspects of the conversion optimization program, both utilizing the existing testing toolset, as well as investigating/providing business cases for further testing technology as appropriate.
- Establish goals and create appropriate reports to track progress and evaluate program results, analyze efficiencies, and modify strategies based upon results as needed.
- Expand our personalization efforts by adopting new platform capabilities, establishing new business processes, and demonstrating desired business results.
- Oversee Marketing Technology systems that directly support analysis, diagnosis, testing, and personalization of website user experiences and conversions.
- Continuously analyze and report on website performance (e.g. visitor behavior, site speed, conversion rates) as well as downstream business outcomes, (e.g. qualified lead volume, pipeline generation). Maintain dashboards to bring this analysis to the broader marketing team.
- Work with our digital marketing and Paid Media teams to ensure the webpages and conversion opportunities are appropriately optimized for paid traffic.
- Work with our marketing automation team to ensure all content engagement, demand generation, and conversion activities are appropriately captured and scored in the Eloqua Marketing Automation Platform.
- Provide hands-on support and best-in-class process training and coaching, to guide the business on the optimal usage of testing and optimization technology, processes and methodologies in order to increase wider business capabilities and understanding in this critical area

Qualifications
Are you?
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing, Digital Business, Marketing, Statistics or a similar subject
- 2-3 Years experience in digital marketing, including testing and optimization of websites in a multinational environment
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of and experience in statistical data analysis and testing methods
- Proven qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions
- Excellent understanding of CMS (content management system) platforms and the wider digital ecosystem and its synergies with other online platforms
- Understaning of SCRUM/Agile software development methodology
- Google Analytics, or other website analytics tools
- Adobe Target or other personalised experience tools
- Content Square (including previously Hotjar) or any other website testing platforms
- Adobe Experience Manager, or other web CMS
- Eloqua or other Marketing Automation platforms
- Percolate or other content orchestration platforms
- Scrum master or Product owner
- Strong data literacy and the ability to use data to identify root causes, understand problems and build strong arguments to convince others
- Strong presentation skills and ability to create compelling data vizualizations to explain complex topics
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
