We are hiring an Engineering Technician II for aerospace/aviation manufacturing. We do painting, soldering, wiring, machining, quality inspection, and more. Our products go onto commercial aircraft, private planes, and fighter jets.
We offer a 9/80 work schedule where you can have every other Friday off with a slightly longer workday throughout the remaining week days. (NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS!!) You will be offered benefits starting the first of the month following your hire date, including paid holidays, health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), bonus, and other great benefits. - Troubleshoot non-functioning electronic assemblies
- Confirm problem identified
- Identify the issue causing the problem
- Write up repair instructions
- Document the issue in the database
- Assist in determining root cause
- Provide feedback to engineering
- Participate in technical and product related meetings

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years of technically related experience.

Does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the organization.

Able to use schematic capture and board layout tools such as PADs for the purpose of viewing and querying.

Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to pull handles and push buttons. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
