ResponsibilitiesSpirit Airlines seeks an innovative and self-driven Senior HRIS Analyst to be part of the Digital HR and Analytics team and primarily responsible for talent acquisition and talent management Systems, analytics, and processes.
The person in this role will focus on the development, maintenance, and technical support of Spirit’s recruiting (iCIMS) and HRIS system (UKG – UltiPro). Specifically, supporting new, existing functionalities, projects, enhancements, break/fixes, and process improvements. This person will (1) Identify, evaluate, recommend, and deliver process and system improvements to streamline, automate and eliminate errors; (2) Provide a strategic technical systems insight; (3) Partner with the HR team to proactively understand the business needs and deliver high-quality solutions and support to meet Spirit’s current and future business needs; (4) capture business requirements, quality configurations, testing, and reporting
- Identify, collect and document business requirements.
- Research and recommend HR systems and process improvements.
- Manage a range of projects or project streams, using HR knowledge and system expertise to ensure success.
- Maintain data in systems and perform audits to maintain data integrity.
- Partner with HR to develop the best long-term process and data solutions.
- Understand iCIMS and UKG capabilities to provide solutions that solve business problems.
- Create and execute effective test plans to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
- Manage testing efforts through coordination, defect management, and successful resolution.
- Create standard operating procedure (SOP) documents and train HR users.
- Develop reporting capabilities of all HR systems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable to support Spirit’s rapid growth.
- Perform data and system audits to confirm data accuracy and integrity.
- Work with the teams to continuously improve solutions, processes, SOPs, training, etc.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor iCIMS and UKG to stay abreast of updates, new capabilities, best practices, releases, and issues.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Information Technology or HRIS/HRIT field.
- 2+ years of iCIMS, UKG (UltiPro), or other HR Systems experience.
- 1+ Years of experience with Cognos or other BI/reporting tools.
- 1+ Years of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
- Experience with Programming or Scripting languages preferred.
- Experience with planning and executing projects preferred.
- Strong analytical, research skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate the process into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to provide team members with excellent customer service while following Spirit’s policies and procedures.
- Ability to show discretion with confidential information.
