Manager/Supervisor

Overview: <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Revenue Manager is responsible for pricing strategy, fare structure and inventory management for seats and ancillary products across the network. He or she will also be responsible for developing and updating the airline&rsquo;s revenue projections.<br /><br /></p> <ul> <li>Industry competitive salary</li> <li>The chance to be part of building something from the ground up. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maximizing revenue, by selling the right seat, to the right customer, at the right time and at the right price</li> <li>Working collaboratively with the commercial team, to develop and manage pricing and inventory strategies and tactics to optimize revenue across all flights</li> <li>Analyzing booking patterns, competitor pricing and other data to identify and respond to trends and capture revenue opportunities in constantly evolving market conditions</li> <li>Developing demand forecasting tools to support revenue management and business planning efforts</li> <li>Monitoring sales and inventory; and determining appropriate responses to market conditions in a highly competitive and dynamic situation</li> <li>Inputting pricing and product data into the Passenger Services System (PSS)</li> <li>Conducting post-audits using key performance indicators and adjusting strategies accordingly</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5 years or more of work experience on an airline commercial team in revenue management, pricing or inventory management</li> <li>Conceptually strong and capable of seeing the bigger picture, as well as analyzing and monitoring in detail, with the ability to take actions and quickly react to evolving market and operational conditions</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, and professional manner</li> <li>Self-starter and able to work under general direction, with the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize heavy workloads and tight deadlines</li> <li>A high degree of motivation, commitment, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, changing environment</li> <li>Post-secondary Diploma or Degree</li> <li>Must be legally entitled to work in Canada</li> </ul>
