The Head of Commercial, Indonesia will oversee Airline Commercial, Regional Countries, Products, and Rewards. Head of Commercial provides leadership, strategic planning, management, and vision necessary to ensure our Commercial, Product, and Rewards strategy is consistent across the regional countries to meet the Company’s objective.
The Head of Commercial will work collaboratively with the different teams across the Company including Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Technology to ensure our commercial goals are met.
Leadership and people management are key components in the role as all employees under Commercial, Regional Countries, Product and Rewards will report to the Head of Commercial.
Here’s what an ordinary day looks like :
- You will lead and provide strategic direction to all the Commercial teams in Indonesia
- You will also lead and provide strategic direction of the product and rewards development centrally from headquarters.
- You will be involved in country-level PnL - routes profitability (top and bottom line), target and commercial operation costs. Analyze commercial performance, make recommendations and seek group-level alignment
- You will be heavily involved in group/cross-function or country-level commercial-related projects and digital innovation - Network, Operation, Product, Finance, and Legal
- You will drive the balance of trade, loyalty, and market share back to the airline.
- You will determine the strategy for key partnerships across the different markets and provide direction for the team to implement.
- Overall responsible for the gross billing, points issuance, and points redemption budget for the Company.
- You will drive ongoing relationships with key partnerships especially those driven regionally.
- You will lead and drive all financial services-related partnerships across the region especially implementing co-brand credit card partnerships in each country.
- You will also drive relationships and partnerships with the AirAsia team.
- You will collaborate with Technology to enhance our current Business2Business (B2B) value proposition for points issuance, redemption, and rewards.
- As a member of the Management Committee, makes business decisions to meet Company’s objectives and provides leadership to all employees
You got to have these to carry out the job:
- Minimum of 12 years of work experience within senior leadership positions with a proven track record in people/team management with a strong background in the consumer business
- Strong knowledge and interest in digital and mobile technology landscape with more in-depth out-of-the-box thinking;
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management;
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in the English language;
