We have an immediate requirement for qualified HGV Class 2 drivers to work as Ambulift Drivers at London Luton Airport (LU2 9LY).

This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified HGV Class 2 licence holders with no driving HGV experience.

This position would also suit experienced HGV drivers tired of long-distance driving or multi-drop driving looking for regular hours within one location.

Ambulift drivers are responsible for transporting passengers with reduced mobility to and from boarding gates directly to the aircraft.

We have various12 hour fixed shift patterns between:
• Day shifts: 0500 hrs – 1700 hrs/1100 hrs - 2300 hrs/1300 hrs – 0100 hrs.
• Night shifts: 1700 hrs – 0500 hrs.
For this HGV Class 2 Driver role, we are offering:
• Day Shifts £13.44 p/h or Night Shift £13.94 p/h.
• Guaranteed a minimum of 42 hrs per week + Overtime.
• 4 on 4 off shifts. Fixed shift pattern working 12-hour shifts per day from one fixed location
• Weekly Pay + Free Parking + Uniform.
• Airport staff discounts (Upon issue of airside pass).

The main duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
• Drive minibuses, and electric buggies and assist customers through the airport with escorting duties.
• Driving vehicles airside in accordance with airport guidelines.
• Ensuring basic vehicle checks are performed on all vehicles.

Requirements for this HGV Class 2 Driver role:
• LGV Cat C Licence or above + Digital tachograph card & CPC card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• 5-year checkable history and clear criminal record check (refundable).
• Be prepared t work shifts in order to cover a 365-day operation.
