About Information Security PMO
The mission of the Information Security Department is to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of FedEx’s information assets. The Information security Project Management Office (PMO) is the information hub for all projects across Fedex Express International IT Information Security. The PMO provides an approach to identify, prioritise, and successfully execute the Information Security Portfolio of Projects, ensuring visibility and alignment with the departmental Strategic Goals
About the role
We are looking to hire a dynamic Project Manager to join our IT Information Security PMO team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for diverse medium complexity Information Security Projects, ensuring these run smoothly, on budget, and on time.
You'll also liaise with project team members to gather, analyse, and monitor project data, as well as prepare project status reports.
Act as the interface to focus IT and related business groups on the optimum planning and execution of business critical initiatives (business planning, projects, processes etc).
Provide overall leadership, direction and cohesion to complex multi-functional/faceted initiatives. Operates in a complex and fast changing global business, technical and regulatory environment.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you'll work as follows:
- Lead the planning and implementation of diverse medium complexity Information Security projects. (time, resource, budget)
- Developing effective and efficient governance, strategies and tactics, to ensure that projects deliver the desired business value.
- Drives execution action while mitigating risks and issues against planning outcomes within the business agility construct
- Work with other PMO team members on a day-to-day basis to ensure project financials are accurately tracked and not duplicated.
- Drives collaboration across teams with FedEx Express International.
- Produces standard and ad-hoc project reports for management review
- Completes post-implementation review to identify lessons learned and recommend corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have:- A bachelor's degree in project management, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager, or a similar role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Familiar with SAFe Agile framework and Business Agility principles is a plus
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
