Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Customer Account Administrator in our Lynnwood, WA Aftermarket Customer Support Organization. The Aftermarket Customer Account Administrator prices and quotes customers, manages spares orders and/or orders for returned product, follows-up on customer questions, statuses customer orders and assists with receiving and department related functions as necessary. This position is accountable and responsible for developing and maintaining good customer relationships; resolving issues affecting customer satisfaction for the assigned customer sets, and managing customer orders within the Crane Aerospace order fulfillment and demand management processes. Crane’s Aftermarket Solutions Include : Repair turn-around-times of 10 days or less on 97% of orders processed New Aircraft Entry Into Service (EIS) Support Automatic rogue unit identification and resolution processing 24 hour AOG support hotline Next Day availability of spares from our distribution warehouses Interactive question/answers available online through SupportWeb Flight Safety Investigations Root Cause Investigations/Technical Problem Solving Field Service Engineering Reliability Trending Operator & OEM Technical Training Proactive Voice of the Customer (VOC) monitoring ensures that customer feedback Duties & Responsibilities: Enter and maintain customer demand in the ERP system in order to drive timely delivery of products to our customers Manage customer forecast through the use of near and long term demand planning in order to drive accurate material requirements and sales planning Establish and grow relationships with our customer base by providing accurate and timely status of shipments through a variety of means such as daily / weekly telecoms, WebEx and face to face meetings in order to establish Crane as a growth supplier for future business Validate customer scorecards and contest any findings that are not in line with actual performance. This includes the comparison of customer and internal delivery data in order to ensure we are aligned with our customer’s scorecard rating Provide timely responses to customer requests for quotes (RFQ) through the coordination with finance and master scheduling to convey accurate and competitive pricing and delivery information back to the customer Understand Crane Business System tools such as key performance indicators, transactional process improvement, problem solving, and standard work in order to participate in continuous improvement efforts Support after hour Aircraft on Ground (AOG) calls as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Experience : Three (3) years of customer service experience and processing customer service transactions in a database. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Understands fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of business Administration Can apply creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent ability to interface productively with customers and internal personnel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. General understanding of business principles, concepts, practices, and standards of the customer service field. Basic understanding of business functions as it relates to high transactional activities. Creative problem solving ability. Ability to perform complex math calculations. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Basic knowledge of an aftermarket/service operation, preferably in the aerospace industry preferred. Education/Certification : High school diploma required. Post-secondary education and/or training preferred. Employment Eligibility Requirement : This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail Working conditions are normal for an Aerospace Repair Station environment Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed Frequent interaction with internal and external personnel and customers. Heavy volume of transactions (as listed in Essential Functions). Work is performed with intermittent direction. Additional training will be provided for specific assignments.
