Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do: (specifics on what the role entails and what is to be expected of the candidate on a daily basis)
- Set up vendors and contractors in the accounting system
- Monitor invoice aging and ensure suppliers are paid on time
- 3-way match invoice entry
- Handling purchase orders and goods receipt discrepancies
- Set up payments (ACH, wires) and send for approval
- Work with various departments to resolve questions or issues in the payment process
- Support month-end close process
- Help improve systems and processes to create more structure
What you need: (degrees, skills, years of experience, etc.)
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, encompassing the above duties
- Understanding of tax (sales, use tax) and accruals and how they impact the month-end close process
- Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth company, where team resources are limited, and processes and systems are not yet fully established
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and/or familiarity with another ERP (Oracle, SAP) or Procure-to-Payment software (ideally Coupa)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve complex situations independently, and escalate appropriately

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $76,000-$95,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience."
