- Candidate must have a strong working knowledge, and demonstrated application of, Object Oriented design practices such as inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, etc.
- Must be comfortable reverse engineering existing code bases to address problem reports, implement enhancements and improve overall structure for maintainability.
- Familiarity with one or more Object Oriented programming languages such as C++ C# JAVA etc.
- Must be comfortable operating in a dynamic rapidly evolving technology space.
- Must be comfortable operating in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting a diverse cross functional team.
- Must be comfortable presenting to wide variety of stakeholders including customers, managers and end users.
- The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of embracing and successfully deploying the concepts of Object Oriented Software Development for large complex code bases.

- Bachelor's, Masterâs, or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or other related technical field.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Education and Experience- Bachelor's, Masterâs, or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or other related technical field.
- BS with 10+ Years of Experience, MS with 8+ Yearsâ Experience, PhD with 5+ Years of Experience.
Preferred Skills and EducationExperience in any the following areas are a plus.- Experience in Safety Critical or Mission Critical Industries such as:
- Aerospace, Military, Medical, Automotive, Industrial / Energy / Nuclear
- Experience with Agile development approach.
- Experience with MATLAB Simulink.
- Experience with Auto Generated code.
- Experience with Aerospace Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC).
- Experience with control law development & vehicle dynamics experience.
- Experience with Autonomous vehicle control.
- Experience with specific Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) approaches or general Human and Autonomous cooperation, coordination & control.
