Task Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining Cargolux’s Revenue Management and Pricing Systems to make both an immediate and sustainable long-term positive impact on the company’s revenue and profitability.
Key Activities:
- Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of technical tools and solutions for the Revenue Management Department
- Safeguard the day-to-day operations of the RM Systems and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to quickly resolve system disruptions
- Collaborate with and support the RM team’s science and technology requirements
- Ability to work on business challenges and propose the optimal technical direction to be taken in conjunction with the IT department
- Identify business process inefficiencies hampering the automation and addressing them to the business partners with proposed solutions; assist in designing training material where required
- Inspire and motivate the Support & Development team (Leading by example)
- Be an active driver for the different projects
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Familiar with the Agile methodology
- Expert in Microsoft Tools
- Expert in Data Visualization Tools
- Experience in coding (software, algorithm)
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience or general knowledge of Revenue Management Systems
- Effective communicator (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization and with a good command of the English language
- Ideally have a first experience as team leader
- Able to find solutions to complex, cross-functional problems
- Self-starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement them
- Organized and disciplined – able to manage delivery of multiple objectives
- Flexibility to adaptively respond to a range of different work situations
- Be trustworthy, honest, business-minded and support and promote company values
Working Conditions:
- Permanent, full-time position based in Luxembourg
- Occasional travel will be required
- Flexibility with working hours when required
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
