Department Overview
Pratt & Whitney Engineering Support to Operations Engineering (ESTO) is seeking a proactive, goal oriented, detail-focused intern to work for the ESTO organization based in Columbus, Georgia. In this hybrid role you will be responsible for task execution covering jet engine compressor blades and stators and will work directly with the Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT) and the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organizations along with the quality and manufacturing engineering teams based at Columbus Forge.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet task and technical requirements in design, structures, or project disciplines.
- Prepare/present status and technical content for the IPT, ESTO Leadership, CIPT and upper Pratt & Whitney management.
- Work closely with the IPT members and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
- Support product improvement opportunities and Class 2 engineering change executions for those initiatives.
- Support evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information.
Basic Qualifications:
- On track to receive a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aerospace
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card Holder) is required due to government contracts
- Fluent in English (verbal/written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong computer skills with proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to learn quickly and apply learning to real world problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and be self-motivated
- The ability to craft clear communication and build positive relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
- No business travel required
