Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Manager to join our team in Long Beach, CA. or Seattle, WA. Â
I this role you will be responsible to lead and oversee sourcing strategies and performance reviews of interiors, avionics, connectivity, structural, systems and Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) suppliers. Â The SPM is expected to effectively lead, manage and contribute to multiple supplier programs concurrently throughout the project/program lifecycle, from supplier evaluation to product delivery, and team with stakeholders from various disciplines and functions â both technical and non-technical and own reporting to Leadership. Â Ideal candidates will have demonstrated competency and experience in production/manufacturing environments as well as supplier/customer support.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
- Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
- Conducts and guides supplier assessments
- Develops current and projected work statement. Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
- Develops and executes work movement plans
- Identifies and manages dual sourcing opportunities
This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. Estimated 2 days on site.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a âUS Personâ as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. âUS Personâ includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Engineering Degree (Bachelors or above),
- Work experience in any of the following areas: Supplier Management, Program Management, Sales or Contracts  Â
Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Experience identifying and developing new sources, dual sources, for Supplier Proprietary parts Â
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelorâs) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masterâs and typically 7 or more yearsâ related work experience.)
Relocation:

Summary pay range: 118,150.00 â 159,850.00
