Position Summary
As an Inside Sales Executive, you will join a sales team dedicated to the servicing and growth of the applicable market(s). In this role, you will collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop robust account plans that align with key priorities and ensure that our travel partners have access to the support and resources they need to improve our market share and revenue quality. This position requires the flexibility and willingness to work outside of business hours including weekends/evening events as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the capture and qualification of leads to prioritize high-growth opportunities and expand HA's partner network
- Provide support to drive successful execution of sales strategy
- Work collaboratively with sales team to provide daily support and servicing to customers, and participate in organization of industry functions, tradeshows, expos, and conferences
- Assist sales team with preparing and sending contracts via DocuSign
- Manage and update CRM to ensure accuracy of account data and track contributions to key priorities and account strategic plans
- Leverage the data to prepare periodic performance reviews, promotional campaigns, and presentations for leadership as needed
- Work with Sales Analytics and available tools to create, manage, and distribute sales performance reports and forecasts both internally and externally
- Monitor individual contributions and perform support functions per the servicing plan committed to in the account strategic plan, ensuring all SLAs are met
- Support the execution of sales promotion campaigns by creating and updating approved email templates, setting up list email campaigns, and accurately reporting on related metrics (email reach & open rate, event budget v. actuals)
- Assist with creating sales collateral, customer presentations, and training and documentation resources
- Lead partner training on products and services as required
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales and support functions, and collaborate with Sales Operations to implement standardized processes across the team and broader organization
- Lead efforts to strengthen relationships with partners by providing consistent, quality support and training per the servicing plan committed to in the account strategic plan
- Contribute to revenue retention and growth through responsive and proactive support
- Provide onboarding, contracting, and training support across all sales programs (Corp, MICE, etc.)
- Coordinate sales meetings and events as required by the sales promo strategy per the account strategic plan
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures, including maintenance of training records as required
- Perform budgeting, expense reporting, forecasting and procurement duties as assigned
- These duties may include, but are not limited to, creating, and managing purchase orders, processing vendor invoices, providing feedback on variance reports, and liaising with internal Finance and Accounting teams
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure awareness of partner inquiries, and work collaboratively to provide thorough and timely solutions to resolve incidents
- Assist with providing information to help measure the financial impact of the sales strategy
- Other duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience
- 3 years sales, reservations, or customer service experience
- Analytical, logical with strong decision making and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated process and procedural skills
- Strong computer skills specifically including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) platform
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to multitask
- Fluency in written and spoken English and if applicable Native language is required
- Domiciled near the office location, or willing to relocate to the area
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the office is located

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience using Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Experience with an airline or travel company
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of travel markets (s) and airline industry
- Understanding of both domestic and international sales including an understanding of GSA operations
- Strong understanding of airfares, pricing, product development, and distribution
- Knowledge of airline technology and reservations tools
