CHC is looking for a suitably experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for our base at Nowra, NSW. This position is available immediately. Exact timings will be discussed with the successful applicant during the interview process.

This permanent role is fixed based and will be responsible for the undertaking and certification of maintenance on the AW139 aircraft.
Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer at the base you will play a key role in our ability to set the standard for safety and maintain our position as a world leader in helicopter services.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for people with the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Must be eligible to live and work in Australia.
- Must hold a CASA Part 66 B2 License with AW139 Type rating; unrestricted type rating license is preferred.
- This fixed based position requires you to reside or relocate to be within 1 hours' commuting distance from the base.
- Extensive field experience and have proven line and base maintenance.
- Have the ability to plan and carry out maintenance and modifications.
- Hold a current Dangerous Goods Awareness certificate.
- Hold a current Senior First Aid is ideal but not essential.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skillset and excellent communication attributes.
- Highly detailed and task oriented.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet business demands.
This position will have the flexibility to cover shift work and away from base deployments if required. In return, you will receive the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with a great team.
