Combining the financial strength of our talented partners with the skills and energy of Canadians like you, we can bring the best practices of the aviation industry to Canada!</p> <p><u><strong>WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS:</strong></u></p> <p>Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager (PRM), this role is responsible for oversight and control of all company and aircraft avionics-related systems, issues, modifications, and repairs.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Reports to Technical Operations (Maintenance &amp; Engineering)</li> <li>Oversee the Company Aircraft Network Security software program</li> <li>Monitor and analyze Aircraft and System Security Logs</li> <li>Responsible for aircraft loadable software and program updates</li> <li>Ensure aircraft software applications are deployed and utilized correctly</li> <li>Liaise with contract organizations and manufacturers as related to aircraft applications, systems and programs</li> <li>Monitor aircraft component systems for potential defects/reliability and communicate with applicable outside departments</li> <li>Participate in industry steering and operational committees</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div> <ul> <li><span class="x_ContentPasted0">Experience in the aviation industry is preferred</span></li> <li><span class="x_ContentPasted0">Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License Rating E or M2</span>&nbsp;<span class="x_ContentPasted0">preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate</span></li> <li class="x_ContentPasted0">Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations&nbsp;<span class="x_ContentPasted0">(CARs) and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)</span>&nbsp;is preferred but not mandatory</li> <li class="x_ContentPasted0">Ability to work independently&nbsp;<span class="x_ContentPasted0">with a common sense approach to critical thinking and decision-making</span></li> <li class="x_ContentPasted0"><span class="x_ContentPasted0">Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, on occasion</span></li> <li class="x_ContentPasted0">Ability to acquire a Restricted Aera Security Pass (RAIC)</li> </ul> <br /> <p><u><strong>WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM US:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Industry competitive salary</li> <li>The chance to be part of building something from the ground up.
