The Demand Forecast Analyst will be responsible to evaluate and forecast resources for future maintenance requirements. Using historical data and future predictions to best prepare ACM for the future demand in both capacity, downtime and manpower.
Key Functions & Accountabilities: (Responsibilities, Activities, Authority levels, etc)

Liaise with Engineering and Maintenance Programs to understand future maintenance demands and schedule

Liaise with Network scheduling to determine long range expectations for fleet growth and schedule demands

Evaluate historical data and trends to measure and forecast future requirements based on fleet and schedule

Work in partnership with the Downtime Analyst, Planning and Maintenance to understand resources and capabilities

Analyze trends and forecasts to project future manpower requirements for Line maintenance in an effort to prepare resources to ensure availability in the appropriate time and location

Communicate all expectations in adequate time periods to allow for training and movements

Evaluate and define long range Airframe and/or out of phase maintenance requirements over 6 year period to efficiently source capacity and schedule events without operational interruptions

Develop and implement reports to communicate forecast to all stakeholders

Investigate and apply new methods for automation and insight into possible future scenarios

Create and maintain KPIs to measure and adjust future objectives and targets
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of the Air Canada maintenance an asset

Strong knowledge of the operation an asset

Self-driven and works well with minimal supervision
-
Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills involving data analysis.

Excellent working knowledge with MS Office programs, TRAX and Netline.

Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
