Position Summary
The Active Directory Technical Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of highly secure and resilient information technology solutions. This role will part of Parker’s Enterprise Directory Services Team, providing support to the global Active Directory environment and focus on the continuous improvement of the IT strategic vision and roadmap.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
This position Does Not Have Direct Reports Collaborates with other Technical Analysts, Senior Technical Analysts, and end users.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.
- Manage large Active Directory environment, account lifecycle activities, AD related upgrades and hardware replacements.
- Day to day management of on-prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Develop and execute PowerShell Scripts targeted for Active Directory management and reporting.
- Understanding of DNS and Group Policy management
- Serve as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting as it relates to Active Directory.
- Work within our Service Desk ticketing system providing level 3 and level 4 support, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve technical and business-related issues.
- Work within supplemental Active Directory auditing and reporting tools.
- Knowledgeable on key IAM concepts (Identity Lifecycle, Roles, SOD, workflow development, birthright access, privilege access, Federation and SSO)
- Provides analytical advice and direction for application and technology that impacts business operations; Understands how applications and technologies impact the business
- Analyze and apply Enterprise data to make recommendations / modifications to streamline & simplify processes while reducing operating costs
- Develops and deploys appropriate Digital and Information Technology solutions
- Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of Digital and IT technology
- Evaluates and modifies existing technology to allow for changes in business requirements or equipment configurations
- Overnight travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions as needed
- Provide after-hour technical support as needed
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)
- 2+ years related IT experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
- Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization
- Ability to establish own priorities and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrates ability to manage projects
