The Crew Services Supervisor must have a detailed working knowledge of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's), Pilot and Flight Attendant work rules and crew scheduling procedures and policies, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management, weekends and holidays.
Here’s what you’ll do
- Guide, supervise, empower, and develop the skills and abilities of all Crew Services Team Members
- Ensure proper CFR legalities of all Flight and Inflight Crews
- Ensure all crew members are legal and qualified for assignments
- Maintain and monitor the day-to-day operations, including crew staffing and legality compliance
- Provide training for new Team Members within the department in compliance with department training procedures and curriculum
- Responsible for all Crew Services Team Member schedules and timekeeping, including:
- Evaluating PTO, shift trades, and sick time
- Management of department coverage concerns and overtime
- Enforcement of the department attendance policy
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data within the Crew Scheduling system
- Conduct system audits to ensure departmental processes and procedures meet quality assurance and compliance standards
- Assist with all phases and testing within Crew Scheduling platforms and systems to identify regression and conduct UAT testing
- Provide a verbal and written operations summary and pass down to the following crew-scheduling shift and leadership if needed
- Assist with investigations on crew scheduling processes as needed or requested
- Research, review, and provide input to crewmember fatigue reports
- Fill out any Extension Reports within 10 days
- Ensure policies, practices, and guidelines that are developed by the Crew Services Manager are implemented
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Crew Services Manager
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited university, or equivalent additional experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- 2+ years of crew scheduling experience
- Must have the authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High-performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
