Job Summary
The Swissport Global IT Asset Manager is responsible for managing, controlling, and protecting Swissport IT Hardware and Software assets throughout their life cycle, from procurement, assignment and removal/disposal. The Swissport Global IT Asset Manager will design, develop, and implement the Swissport asset management strategy. They will ensure policies and processes align with Swissport business requirements and that they are adhered to by all IT personal and relevant support vendors, additionally the use of data analysis, reporting and relevant dashboards will be expected to show the total landscape of Hardware assists and Software licencing and utilisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and update the asset management processes and policies covering purchase, installation, utilisation, monitoring, maintenance and disposal of Software and Hardware assets
- Ensure asset processes and policies are clearly communicated to all stakeholders
- Coordinate governance, processes, and reporting to ensure requests are tracked, approved and recorded for audit and license management
- Establish appropriate tracking for software license purchases covering utilisation and alignment to cost centre and budget
- Define and track asset metrics, provide clear, detailed reporting and dashboards
- Work with local IT, Procurement, Finance and Business teams to ensure that IT assets are effectively forecast and proactively ordered

- Ensure adherence to the Corporate QHSE Manual
Qualifications and Competencies
- 4 years’ experience in Enterprise IT asset management
- ITIL v3/v4 certification to at least foundation level
- Knowledge of ISO 20000 standard and its applicability
- Well-developed listening, communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to influence people from different levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting and presentation
- Broad understanding of a business or service environment and awareness of the factors that influence business decisions and strategy
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Fluent command of oral and written English as the corporate language; knowledge of any other language would be an advantage
