Job Summary: The HRMS Analyst is responsible for the administration, development, and changes to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HRIS Analyst is the technical point of contact across multiple functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, implementation, system support, system releases and testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing business and data flows for process improvement opportunities. They will develop and maintain reports to support CAE HR functions, including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics. Essential Functions: Provide support for all HR Systems (primarily focusing on PeopleSoft), including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; partnering closely with the payroll and technical teams; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Understand both the strategic and functional intentions for the HRIS solutions. Evaluate data within the systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and data integrity. Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and act on resolving data integrity issues and opportunities for continuous improvements and standardization for supported applications. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running audit queries and analyzing data. Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; develop and administer standard reports for statistical analysis and ongoing customer needs (including metrics); compares data from different sources to draw conclusions; develop and administer system dashboards. Support annual processes such as Intellectual Capital reviews, monthly SD reviews, annual performance appraisal cycle and the salary planning and bonus processes. Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for entry of all personnel/employment data into PeopleSoft. Ensure that HR users are adequately trained to operate the systems correctly. Serves as backup for data entry as required. Participates in regular HRIS team meetings run by Corporate HRIS and support Corporate driven projects. Conduct testing and provide feedback on new functionality, upgrades, patches, etc. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for entry of all personnel/employment data into PeopleSoft. Ensure that HR users are adequately trained to operate the systems correctly. Serves as backup for data entry as required. Partner directly with Human Resources and Payroll subject matter experts to understand business processes, hone requirements and evaluate how to best implement solutions. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., finance, IT). Follows SOX guidelines, IT Governance Controls (ITGC) and Lean methodologies/tools. Support the completion of annual reporting cycles including Affirmative Action Plans, Veteran and EEO reports. Create and maintain HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Experience : 4+ years of work experience, 2+ years of experience in an analytical function Knowledge : Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and reporting requirements related to Human Resources; familiarity with HR processes and practices; Knowledge data systems and integrations. Skills/Abilities : Experience administering and/or supporting software solutions in a business environment Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to audiences with diverse technical background Proficient Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel Analytical mindset and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proven attention to details and excellent organization skills o Excellent customer service skills at all levels of management o Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities o Ability to maintain confidentiality and use judgment on sensitive issues · Education/Certification : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
