About the role:
As a Production Integration Technician, the individual's experience and multiple skills will be used within the production team to undertake more complex elements of activities required to complete simulator construction.
Please note this role is fully site based at our London Trainign Centre in Crawley, West Sussex.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Fitting and integration work of assemblies used within the product
- General Assembly using technical drawings and or specification documents
- Cable assemblies installation
- Wire wrapping / soldering, and simulator wiring activities
- Manual lifting as required
- Fork and scissor lift operation
- Slinger / Banksman activities
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in integration of complex machinery
- Ability to work under pressure to resolve problems as they arise
- Ability to communicate effectively with his peers and supervisors at all times
- Manual Handling training and Health & Safety training in relation to shop floor working
- Team player, flexible working, open minded, proactive in moving the company forward
- Willing and flexible to visit other L3 sites and customer sites, both in the UK and internationally at short notice
- Displays energy, drive, agility and resilience in achieving work-related goals under difficult circumstances
Qualification and educational requirements:
- Served an apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a suitable manufacturing industry
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technologies or equivalent
- Previous experience in the simulator manufacturing industry
