Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: $40/hr. - $45/hr. (Depending on Experience)
Shift Time: 1st Shift (8AM- 5PM)

- Client Defense Systems sector has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Talent Acquisition Business Partner.
- Join our growing team of diverse professionals. This role supports full life cycle recruitment of functional positions. The successful candidate will have experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment with demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, and closing candidates. The Principal Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) provides consultative guidance to hiring managers and candidates throughout the selection process.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides full life cycle recruiting to include screening, qualifying, interviewing, and managing candidate relationships while advising hiring managers through the assessment and selection process
- Provides recruiting and sourcing strategies and adapts to new recruiting technologies and online tools
- Ensures compliance with established recruiting processes and standards, and manages key metrics and reports
- Demonstrates agility and manages competing demands in an ever-changing business environment
- Effectively consults and partners with hiring managers and program leaders to understand their talent needs and build and implement a talent/workforce plan
- Develops and implements creative and effective recruiting strategies to attract a qualified and diverse talent pool
- Accurately assess candidates for cultural, competency and skill fit, quickly synthesize candidate and hiring manager feedback, and routinely pre-close candidates to ensure high acceptance rates
- Effectively leverage other functional areas as well as utilize data and market intelligence when advising the business and executing staffing strategies
- Quickly assimilates technical information and operates with financial responsibility
- Successfully blends diversity, regulatory requirements, and business strategy throughout the process
- Influences hiring managers, executives, candidates, and peers by developing trusting relationships
- Apply knowledge of compensation guidelines and practices to conduct salary analysis and prepare salary offer recommendations
- Routinely leverages metrics to advise managers, improve processes, and/or self-assess performance
- Demonstrates uncompromising ethical standards, integrity and respect for people
- Acts with a high sense of urgency
- Proactively collaborates with recruiting assistants to ensure a smooth interview and onboarding experience for candidates
Basic Qualifications for Principal Talent Acquisition Business Partner:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
- 3 or more years of experience recruiting for engineering disciplines
Will also consider:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using an applicant tracking system (Workday)
