Role Introduction
Reports To: Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew Career Development
The jobholder is responsible to support the design and execution of career development strategies for Cabin Crew in our Inflight Service Delivery, and participating in assessment and selection activity for promotion, progression and retirement age extension interviews. The jobholder is also accountable for contributing to various HR projects and daily operations to enhance cabin crew engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Cabin Crew Career Development strategy from discussing requirements with Cabin Crew Service Excellence Managers, selection processes, job advertisement creation, promotion criteria, screening, selecting, offer, and training arrangement
- Lead the retirement age extension (RAE) process including but not limited to liaise with different stakeholders, prepare and conduct briefing, design and implement the activity rundown, take part in RAE panel interviews, result consolidations and result announcement etc.
- Design and implement assessment tools and systems for progression, promotion and RAE selections
- Manage recruitment-related technology platforms (HireVue, Cut-E, Learning HUB etc.)
- Take part in role plays and panel interviews for progression, promotion and RAE assessments
- Support managers in reviewing promotion and RAE processes and propose alignment with Corporate strategy
- Oversee the roster arrangement for secondee, progression and promotion training
- Handle CXposure and short-term assessment requests from other departments. Shortlist candidates and conduct interviews if necessary
- Guide and support Cabin Crew Career Development Officer in carrying out the administrative work
- Prepare team update reports for managers
- Deputise Assistant Manager Cabin Crew Career Development and Cabin Crew Career Development Officer if needed
Requirements
- Tertiary education
- Strong customer service background and at least 3 years’ experience working in customer service sector
- Good understanding of cabin crew culture
- Experience working in HR / Talent Acquisition roles advantageous
- Experience working with recruitment platform advantageous
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Cantonese
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills
- Able to work independently, handle multi-task and projects
- Proactive, high drive, attention to detail
