Summary
Apply knowledge of general business and accounting principles to operational projects and programs. Support the program management organization with program financial analysis. Able to withstand rigorous audit by customers and/or various Government agencies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- EAC analysis and updates, including monthly CAM Reviews
- Monthly IPR preparation, analysis, and presentation skills
- Preparation of Monthly Internal Program Reviews – Earned Value data, cash analysis, estimates at complete
- Forecasting monthly throughput, cash and net cash updates and analysis
- Resource planning updates and analysis
- Material purchase requisition analysis and approval
- Monthly EAC / Earned Value / CAM Review updates working with Program Management and Control Account Managers, analysis and lockdown
- Program Budget baseline development and maintenance
- Experience with multiple US government contract types (FFP / T&M / FPIF / CPFF) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly US Government reporting requirements
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or equivalent related experience
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, DOD program contracting and pricing & cost estimating
- Knowledge of standard accounting software, preferably Deltek and Adaptive Insights
- Works under moderate supervision to set objective for own job area
- Strong information system and PC skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Project, Word. Cognos/Domo is a plus
- Knowledge of DOD Billing Methods
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS/FAR/CAS
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET Clearance is required
- Cost-Type contract accounting experience is a plus
- Experience with contracts containing Collective Bargaining Agreements or SCA provisions a plus
- Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
- Be a key participant in the control of costs and schedules of Military contracts in a rigorous cost/schedule control system environment.
- Prepare analysis and reports supporting contract performance measurement according to negotiated and agreed upon financial parameters and Government cost control guidelines
- Support proposal pricing, assist program team in preparing monthly Internal Program Review Presentations
- Monthly forecast updates Orders, Throughput, Cash and Net Cash to include variance analysis vs. the Plan and prior month’s forecast
- Data accuracy is of the upmost importance
- Perform financial analysis of funding profiles vs. customer funding availability
- Maintain Program Earned Value Baseline with monthly updates to contractual obligations and projections.
- Working in a team environment supporting various organizational needs.
- Be an active participant in maintaining a high level of quality and pride of workmanship within the Program Finance Office.
- Excellent Software PC skills including Excel, Word & Power Point.
- Experience with Micro frame Project Manager (MPM) preferred.
- Experience with Cost Point Financial System, Cognos Planning, and Cognos data query preferred.
- Good communication skills required.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance within a six-year investigation period
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
