Sales Executive – Trade, field based, covering the
North East and Yorkshire catchment area on a full time basis.
Reporting to the
National Sales Manager – Trade, our
Sales Executive – Trade will have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our company sales proposition, targets, strategy and objectives. You will Take Responsibility for communicating this via an effective channel to our trade partners, raising product awareness and our brand profile, whilst gaining incremental business opportunities from these partners in line with company targets.
What will you do in the role?
- Your mission is to grow Jet2holidays sales in line with company targets by completing training, implementing marketing and supporting our Travel Agent partners.
- Building relationships with Travel Agents is key to the success of this role. You will have your own area to manage in which you will visit partners, and set up key account meetings with them to talk over strategies to grow sales.
- Represent Jet2holidays brand at conferences, FAM trips, industry dinners and much more! At all of these events, you will establish new contacts within the Travel Trade along with maintaining existing relationships.
- Clear direction will be given from our National Sales Managers on the companies main focuses, objectives and goals for you to work towards or to communicate to our Travel Agent partners.
- Marketing is a pivotal part of the role to ensure that Jet2holidays brand is front of mind. This comes in many forms such as shop branding, social media takeovers, joint branded campaigns. New ideas are essential from our sales team to ensure we are constantly developing as a team.
- To track and manage your area, you will have the best systems, plus the most up to date equipment. It is your responsibility to update these systems to ensure your activity is correctly recorded.
What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?
Our
Sales Executive – Trade will have experience within the leisure travel industry and live within the North East or Yorkshire catchment area. You will also:-
- Be computer literate with sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and Word
- Be results-focused and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting targets and delivering successfully
- Have the ability to close a deal and deliver noticeable results in line with Jet2holidays targets
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality, complimented with excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as possessing good negotiating skills
- Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously or as part of a team Have a flexible approach to work patterns and be available to work weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
- Be willing to attend Jet2holidays promotional events, exhibitions, hospitality events, trade dinners and conferences as required.

This is a field-based position, offered on a full time contract basis, covering the North East and Yorkshire catchment area, promoting
Jet2holidays and building trade relationships, managing individual accounts and being accountable for arranging and attending key events throughout the year.
