The Inflight Supervisor, reporting to the Inflight Services Manager, will support their assigned base and will collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest level of safety, efficiency, and overall success of Breeze. To achieve that objective, they will monitor the overall performance of a team of flight attendants and provide guidance and leadership while supporting departmental goals.
Here’s what you’ll do
- Lead initiatives to achieve on-time performance goals set for their base/region
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans and respond to irregular operations as needed
- Work flexible hours and be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays to handle irregular operations and flight interruptions
- Maintain performance and reliability reporting and corrective action for their base’s Flight Attendants
- Coach and develop flight attendants to reach and exceed expected performance levels
- Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings with respect to performance, reliability, operational activities, etc. while being accountable for timely and accurate follow-up
- Assist recruitment with hiring Flight Attendants
- Promote safety and compliance with all regulatory and Breeze requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of key base and department metrics and performance indicators and the department’s performance relative to them
- Perform line evaluations as an ATS when necessary
- Maintain accurate employment records of Flight Attendants
- Ensure and maintain a safe environment and operation
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years leading a diverse workforce
- 3+ years flight attendant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain current Breeze Airways Flight Attendant Certification
- Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) professionally for training, QA, and data reporting
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
- Ability to be cross-utilized in the Inflight Services and Station Operations departments
- Knowledgeable in Inflight Service and working with the FAA, DOT, and TSA
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, with ability to lead, train, and motivate
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
