About the team you are joining
The Financial Charges Compliance and Cost Management Systems department is responsible for managing data solutions related to taxes, fees, and charges and the currency exchange rates services. These solutions are used across aviation to manage the planning, pricing of tickets, revenue management, and invoicing.
The portfolio includes TTBS (Ticket Tax Box Service (TTBS)), ICER (IATA Consolidated Exchange Rates), IROE (IATA Rates of Exchange), ACIC, and the new MCT (Minimum Connection Times) platform linked to the SSIM (Standard Schedules Information Manual).
You will report to the Assistant Director of Financial Charges Compliance and Cost Management Systems focusing on the administration of ICER and MCT data compliance solutions as well as providing backup for other solutions.
What your day would be like
As the Intern Compliance and Financial Charges, you will be responsible for:
·Managing the exchange rate services operations with the support of the SMEs and the operational team
·Design and refine the business continuity plan for ICER and MCT
·Support the TTBSteam migration of the data to the new platform
·Support members of the Plan Standards and Financial Charges Compliance teams on the launch and promotion of the MCT platform, including the operations and activities in the Minimum Connect Times (MCT) initiatives:
-Data collection/input/processing/distribution
-Regional campaign support
-Communication with industry stakeholders regarding participation and data collection
-Analysis and alignment of procedures with business practices
·Liaise with subject matter experts, supporting interactions with customers and other internal teams, including Customer Services, Central Sales, Marketing, and IT
We would love to hear from you if
·Recently (within 1 year) graduated from a university with a bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a related field, such as Operations Management, Business, or Technology;
·Ability to identify and solve problems
·Capability to multitask while achieving deadlines
·Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) and Power BI
·Ability to work in a multicultural team environment & customer focused
·Excellent English writing and oral skills.
