Metro Aviation is seeking a Production Paint Technician for our PMA Production Shop located in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Job Objective
- The Paint Technician is responsible for preparing and painting aircraft component parts.
Essential Functions
- Read and comprehend blueprints and customer work orders
- Operate and maintain painting equipment
- Prepare parts for paint
- Maintain orderly paint booth
- Order painting supplies
- Assist in the Production Shop as needed

*Must be able to pass the OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation, pre-employment
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level
- Paint and body experience a plus
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling
- Climbing heights on various equipment
- Use of heavy machinery
- Lifting up to 50 or more pounds
Work Environment
- Indoor/Outdoor shop environment with potential extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible
- Moderate to a loud noise level
- Light machinery used
STATUS & SCHEDULE
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
- Overtime necessary depending on workload
