Position Summary
Responsible for growing sales within Biopharmaceutical market in the US in close cooperation with the Global Market team. Responsible for Sales Growth, Gross Margin Development, and ROS for specific market segment in the US. Responsible for making decisions on projects and application solutions and will impact the local and global strategies to meet the targets. This role will impact commercial decisions significantly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business in BioPharma market based on Pure Train Single-Use Technology and product portfolio. Plan and monitor strategy deployment for BioPharma in the US.
- Develop and implement ideas for new products and selling opportunities in close relation with customers, division market engineering managers, and general managers.
- Support Global Account strategy; identify portfolio gaps/market needs; identify key decision makers and establish relationship.
- Deliver product presentations during customer visits. Develop growth plans for focus customers.
- Represent Parker at conferences and trade shows.
- Coordinate projects with global engineering team and manufacturing network.
- Work with MarCom on digital content and growth tools to develop business.
- Development of professional relationships with all defined customers and at all levels of seniority.
- Responsible for new customer engagement. Present and negotiate commercial proposals on new business. Work on customer contracts with relevant stakeholders.
- Technical and commercial support for all issues and daily problems for customers.
- Responsible for achieve win rates for quotes.
- Provide relevant input for pricing decisions to ensure win rate targets are met.
- Monitor market and competition developments in BioPharma Single-Use area.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Bioscience or work experience from Bioscience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development.
- PC Skills a must—Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint or similar required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines; structured working style.
- Foresight to choose and prioritize activities to maximize Parker growth targets and margin contribution.
- Ability to translate customer desires and projected requirements into business development realities and skillfully provide a value-added solutions approach to stratifying these customer needs.
- Ability to engage customers in virtual environment and basic knowledge of digital marketing role in sales.
- Ability to utilize internal and external resources to match up with key customers’ technical development teams and advanced engineering efforts to promote and achieve sales targets.
- Ability, through focused research, to identify new markets, customers, technologies that will benefit PTD to enable continuous sustainable sales growth
- Ability to work in a global environment
- Must be able to travel overnight 75% of time; or as required. Substantial travel within the US and some overseas travel.
