How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
A Content, Retailing and Merchandising Intern will provide support to deliver best-in-class Digital experiences across delta.com and Fly Delta App.
The role will assist in various areas of the day-to-day workflows, including but not limited to, market/competitor research, data analysis, ideation, problem-solving, marketing, communication, event planning, creating business cases and building PowerPoint decks for presentations.
The team is comprised of several functions:
- Content Strategy is responsible for many aspects of the customers Digital experiences and including copywriting, UX testing and accessibility.
- Content Operations supports the delivery of best-in-class content.
- Audience Strategy delivers personalized content across digital platforms.
- Optimization runs A/B tests to drive value and test ideas.
- Merchandising is responsible for optimizing brand position and upsell.
What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
- Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Journalism/PR or related field in a 4-year degree program
- Demonstrates organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to prioritize and pivot for unexpected deliverables or needs
- Candidate is team oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel; knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience is preferred
- Willingness/ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills is required
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
