Loyalty is responsible for the strategic planning, development and execution of our MileagePlus programs and the associated partnership development and marketing.
Job Overview And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Analytics, the Analyst will partner with Marketing teams to define and implement data analytics initiatives. The Analyst will apply business intuition, project management experience, and knowledge of analytical tools in their day-to-day to deliver analyses that create sustainable revenue and share growth, efficiencies, and cost savings.

- Responsible for execution of solutions to business problems using data analysis and, from time to time, advanced analytics
- Able to independently seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions
- Proactively resolve road blocks to keep projects progressing
- Create recommendations and communicate quantitative concepts in a clear, precise, and concrete manner
- Proactively develop strategic and problem-solving skills
- Project Management
- Manage multiple projects with team members across the Marketing team by understanding and balancing the competing demands for project scope, time, and quality while being accountable for deliverables
- Responsible for tracking projects from idealization to completion
- Partnership
- Collaborates with Data Science, Data Engineering, and IT teams as appropriate
- Partner with business collaborators to support key initiatives to innovate and improve business
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Business, marketing, or quantitative field (statistics, engineering, analytics, information systems, aviation management, or related degree)
- 1-3+ years of experience in analytics role (analytics, revenue management, customer loyalty, marketing, pricing, financial analysis, consulting, data engineering or other relevant quantitative field)
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting or visualization tools
- Experience with database interface tools and statistical programming languages such as SQL
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree
- Business management, analytics, or quantitative field
- 1+ year experience in marketing analytics
- 1+ year airline experience
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression or machine learning
- Experience with statistical tools and programming (R, Python, SAS, or similar)
- Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, or other visualization tools
