The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Process Specialist to join the Global Technical Operations (GTO) Future Factory & Operations core team in Jacksonville, FL.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity. The selected candidate will help with site transformation initiatives. A positive attitude, passion for learning, and fresh ideas will help us to create the future of Manufacturing, Repair, and Overhaul Operations within and/or across programs, organizations or manufacturing business units.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Partnership with all key functions (Quality, Supplier Chain, Production Control, Engineering, BR&T, IT, etc.)
Pull together necessary team members to develop solutions to repetitive inefficiencies
Become a SME on the applicable process (what is working, what isnât, and what should be done about it)
Develop metrics
Lead implementation of solutions including application improvement and development
Regular status to various leaders from multiple functions
Work within and/or across programs, organizations or manufacturing business units where necessary
Gather and develop requirements in support of organization direction and initiatives
Present to leadership to gain sponsorship, approval, and funding as necessary
 Strong project management skills and experience
Communication skills at all levels of leadership
Think large scale and sustainable (goal is not just to fix the problem today, but also to make sure the problem doesnât come back)
Be open to new ideas and be able to challenge team to think differently
Gathers data to support the analysis of engineering design, manufacturing & product support requirements and assists in the documentation of new process solutions. Â
Develops strategies to reduce product defects and production inefficiencies.
Supports the implementation of program transition plans to improve existing processes and apply new tool technology
Utilizes understanding of product design and build processes and applies standard methods to construct program planning models simulating the multi-functional dependencies of the product development lifecycle.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
5+ years of experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement
Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance, Maintenance concepts development and sustainment, repair, and overhaul environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
6+ years of experience using virtual visualization and simulation tools
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skill
6+ years conducting research, compiling and analyzing performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
Typical Education/Experience:Â
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more yearsâ related work experience, a Masterâs degree and typically 8 or more yearsâ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300
