Field Engineering position will support the design, modification, test and deployment of complex, large scale JOINT TERMINAL CONTROL TRAINING AND REHEARSAL SYSTEM (JTC TRS). Duties will include oversight and tasking of multiple site locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (60% Field Engineer + 40% Logistics)

- On-all Helpdesk Support 24/6
- Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test simulators, and other support equipment. Install changes and updates to training system hardware and software as authorized utilizing documented procedures.
- Conduct and document preventative maintenance checks required for simulator and support equipment; troubleshoot, repair, and document malfunctions of simulators and support equipment; remove and replace faulty equipment and complete maintenance data collection records; assist with installation and check-out of simulator and support equipment modifications; assist with general field site facility activities as required.
- Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and/or leads technical team to determine technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
- Maintains security and cybersecurity posture, performing simulator system checks, scans and audits.
Logistics (40%)
- Preparation of items for shipping to Field sites
- Receipt of equipment from Field sites
- Inventory Control
- Research part replacement to provide additional information to Hardware Engineers
- Create and maintain Logistics reports concerning Currently stocked inventory, Open parts orders, and reconciliation of received parts with outstanding equipment Work orders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Sciences, Network Administration, or a two-year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute and/or military technical training equivalent and 2 years electronics maintenance experience on equipment of similar complexity.
- Minimum simulation experience of 5 years as a simulator technician or simulation engineer.
- Must be capable of operating independently or in small teams with good customer relations and communications skills.
- Minimum of a US SECRET security clearance, dated within the last 5 years.
- Active U.S. Passport
- Prospective must have demonstrated technical on-call support skills in a highly technical environment dealing directly with customer personnel.
- This is a Field Service position and will require travel (50% U.S and International). CONUS and OCONUS
- CompTIA Security + required
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
- JTAC Operations/Maintenance a plus
- Strong ability to maintain system network architecture
- Working knowledge of standard MS Office products (ACCESS, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
