Ryanair are currently recruiting for an
Assistant HR Manager to join the HR Dept of Europe's Largest Airline Group!
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing company at the core of the business and operation. This is a varied role where you will be assisting with employee queries, union negotiations and everything inbtween!
Duties Include but not limited to;
- Supporting the HR Manager with responsibility for 4,500+ employees.
- Managing a team of 10+ HR staff across for all HR matters including disciplinary investigations, absence management, contracts, payroll, employee queries, CLA implementation and liaising with local authorities on a range of topics.
- Ensuring the HR team meet key targets, complete weekly action items and collate the team report for the HR Manager, including identifying areas requiring improvement and actioning same.
- Implementing changes to T & C’s, employment policies/practices and CLA’s to ensure compliance with labour law in our local markets.
- Industrial relations – union negotiations and collective bargaining.
- Monitoring employee absence and turnover to identify trends and dealing with same.
- Liaising, supporting and advising management at all levels across the business on all HR related matters, ranging from general queries, grievances to disciplinary investigations and legal case preparation.
- Good knowledge of business and HR model to answer daily employee queries and make informed decisions.
- Excellent writing skills to be able to compose important disciplinary letters etc.
- Working on ad hoc projects as and when they arise.
- Travelling across Europe to meet with employees on general employment matters, attend interviews and employee negotiations.
Requirements
- Business (with HR specialism), HR degree or masters preferred.
- Be able to work in a pressurized and fast paced environment and work to tight deadlines efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key managers across the business.
- Ability to learn quickly and implement/make use of new information seamlessly.
- The ability to work on your own initiative with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power point etc) and written communication.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and willing to work hard. Quick thinker and no-nonsense mentality.
